It was sunny for the race in Fairlands Valley Park. Above 4 ladys wore wedding dresses. Right the most colourfull costume of the day. Everyone received a medal at the finish. Fairlands Valley Spartans assisted with setting up the course and marshaling. It was a warm sunny day for the 2 lap run. Over 100 turned out to run for Age UK Hertfordshire. There were many colourfull costumes. The race started and finished at the Standalone Farm in Letchworth. First was David Wardle in 30:28. First lady was Astrid McKeown in 38:00. The race was organised by North Herts Road Runners. The run was in Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage. Left the first lady to finish. The course was 5k. Right the first three men. The event was to raise funds for the Herts Air Ambulance. Left Air Ambulance staff in front of their Helicopter. Jack radio supported the event. The organisers were supported by a large group of volunteers. The race was organised by Claire Marmion. Photo left with her CRUK staff. This family celebrate after the finish. There was a 5k and 10k option. The course was setup by Fairlands Valley Spartans. Commercial Dance led the warmup. Heart Radio provided the announcer on the day. They also joined in warmup. Right two ladies happy to finish. The Cruk staff were assisted by a large group of volunteers. These convicts escaped so they could participate. The course was within Fairlands Valley Park.
